We do things a little differently around here...
Our competitors are the sorts of people wearing 'smart casual' attire 7 days a week. They SMS with one hand and hide behind too much IT jargon. Success at those places is measured in sales quotas. Everyone answers to the sales manager and inbound telephone calls to routed to voicemail at 4:55PM. Some speak Klingon.
At Epimedia the creative people are at the top, where they belong. Our success is measured by real outcomes, not sales quotas. We like to say "Yes, we can!" BEFORE saying "It's going to cost you." We believe in the power and majesty of open source . Our advice is free. We care and our clients love us because we empower and support them. We're the sort of people you want in your corner when the Boss tinkers with your project at the last minute. Finally, we like to think our results speak for themselves.
Discover, Develop, Design and Deliver - the 4 Ds
Through the four phases of our unique development process (Discovery, Design, Development, and Delivery), we partner with the client in the creative process.
The purpose of the discovery phase is to establish the scope of your project, and your short and long-term goals. To accomplish this, we assess your needs through interviews and research.
Our findings are organised into a blueprint which defines the project requirements, sets objectives and targets on which the project's success can be measured.
The information gathered during the initial contact with you serves as a foundation for the design process. At this stage we begin to develop the project's aesthetic and formulate functionality specifications.
In the final stages of creation the design elements are unified, and issues of compatibility and usability addressed.
Proper planning in Discovery & Design ensure cost and time-effective development.
The user interface components are created by melding functionality with aesthetics - at all times working closely with you to manage the flow of information and materials.
After the project has been developed, we ensure its successful delivery. Depending on the nature of the project this ongoing process might include training, evaulation, testing and updates.
