The Royal College of Nursing Australia (RCNA) engaged Epimedia in redeveloping the e-learning platform for 3LP, RCNA's professional development program. Working closely with RCNA, Epimedia established the aesthetic and functional requirements for the new Learning Management System (LMS).

Epimedia deployed Moodle, an open source LMS in the creation of the new 3LP web site. Additionally, we developed several new functional modules to achieve RCNA's objectives including a professional development tracking system, an authentication plugin that interfaces with RCNA's existing database and an online resume posting system.

ACT Communities Online (ACO) is a community-driven web-based events calendar, featuring profiles of hundreds of community organisations in the ACT and surrounds. After our involvement in several other projects for the Citizen's Advice Bureau, Epimedia was asked to redevelop the ACO website.

Epimedia created the ACO website as a PHP/MySQL driven web application with a completely redesigned interface and corporate branding. Since the initial launch of ACO, several new features have been added to the site. Epimedia continues to provide ongoing support and development to the Citizen's Advice Bureau.

FaCSIA were implementing a new internet based workflow system for use by their staff. They requested Epimedia to prepare a series of multimedia e-learning tutorials and a quick reference guide, to train FaCSIA staff to be able to competently and confidently use the new workflow system.

The task involved Epimedia preparing and writing instructional material and recording and compiling screen demonstrations. All of the materials organised into a structure of 4 e-learning tutorials, each addressing a different set of concepts or functions relating to the new software. These multimedia e-learning modules were formatted for delivery via Internet and CD-ROM.

Old Parliament House, a museum of Australian social and political history, requested the creation of multimedia elements for it's newly developed exhibition of the Prime Minister's Suite. We collaborated with Old Parliament House throughout the entire creative process.

Combining archival recordings and custom recorded sounds. Epimedia created a multi-channel soundscape that coveyed  the ambience of the Prime Minister's Suite during the Bob Hawke era. Epimedia also created two video montages for the exhibition that met the requirement for clarity of information, whilst engaging the viewer through editing momentum and artistic flair.

UnionsACT, the peak union body in Canberra, approached Epimedia to redevelop and redesign its website. We were asked to provide a more news-focussed site with a fresh vibrant design.  The key project objective was to create a site that allowed staff with minimal IT skills to update the content.

To meet the requirements, Epimedia implemented an open source content management system known as Joomla. Utilising Joomla, UnionsACT staff are able to maintain a dynamic news-driven website, whilst keeping costs to a minimum.

We think we have the formula right...

Around 85% of Epimedia's business is repeat business. Around 70% of our new clients are a direct referral from an existing client. That's remarkable in an industry based around one-off projects.

We keep excellent company, as evidenced by our client list:
